We now offer Mike Yee Outfitting as an installed option on our Royalex
Rendezvous. This system transforms your boat into a serious downriver tripping
canoe. The double strap system provides superb contact with the boat, enabling
intermediate paddlers to carve sharper turns, and advanced paddlers to roll. The
web seat is replaced with a foam pedestal with will not trap your feet in the
event of a capsize. Contoured knee pads are custom placed to provide you with
maximum comfort. The releasable bag cage system secures your float bags and gear
in the roughest conditions, while still providing easy access for loading and
unloading. We-no-nah's 3D nylon floatbags are custom designed to fill the contours of
the Rendezvous.

The Double Strap system combines contoured thighstraps and kneestraps for
maximum control. The knee straps allow you to push with your inner thigh for
greater control in leans and braces. Both straps are connected, so that they are
easily adjusted with only one pull. With your feet pushing into the Yakima
footpegs you are secure in the system, but if you take your feet off the
footpegs, you can easily slide out of the boat. A quick release buckle provides
additional protection against entrapment. Both thighstraps and knee straps are
suspended in place so that you do not need to fumble over them when climbing
into your boat.
The contoured kneepads are sculpted from minicell foam. We mount them in
place with you in the boat, so that we can get the most comfortable angle and
position. No two paddlers are created equal, and unlike pre-installed
systems, we know ours will fit you like a glove.

The Releasable Bag Cage securely holds your floatbags, without directly
connecting the bags to the hull. This allows your bags to shift and move,
without building pressure points that can damage your bags. Safety webbing runs
down the middle of the system, offering a second level of support. A quick
release buckle at the front of the cage allows it to be opened up for easy
removal of float bags, or to pack gear.
The webbing rings provide lash points to help secure a lunch bag, camera bag,
or other lightweight items where they are immediately accessible in front of the
paddler. An equipment ring can be installed in front of the seat, providing an
additional reinforced lashing point for heavier gear.

As a finishing touch, we also add grab loops to the bow and stern of the
canoe. We suggest carrying a loaded canoe with our loops so that you do not
strain the gunwale mounted grab handle.
