Canoe Colorado's Information for
RMCC Winter Pool Sessions

More information on the RMCC can be found on their website www.rockymountaincanoeclub.org

The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club has made arrangements with Meyers Pool for a series of open pool sessions, where paddlers can bring their canoes or kayaks, and practice in warm water. RMCC membership is not required to take advantage of this offer, though the club is a great group and well worth joining. This is a great opportunity to work on bracing, rolls, rescue, and other "get wet" paddle techniques.

Cost $6.75 per person per session

Bring your own boats. The pool is concrete with a metal rim, so any type of canoe or kayak is welcome, not just rotomold and Royalex. Please have a clean boat before entering the pool. There are several hoses at the pool to rinse your boat and equipment after the pool session (chlorine can do bad things, so rinsing your equipment is a good idea).

2005 - 2006     Pool Session Dates:          Sundays     10am - 2pm

Dates haven't been set yet

Location:

George Meyers Pool
7900 Carr Drive
Arvada

Southwest of 80th and Wadsworth, see map for more details.

Lockers are available at the pool.

A car wash is located on 80th between Carr and Allison, which will easily wash any mud off your boats.
